In the summer of 2005 Davinia made a trip during the Summer Holidays to Venice, Italy. There she fell in love with the magnificent art of Glass, and glass-beads.

The summer of 2006 was reserved to make a 10-day glass course in the Glass Art school on Murano, Abate Zanetti. In september 2006 she came back to Murano leaving her life in Belgium to follow her dream. To be part of the Glass art.

In April 2007 Davinia was looking for a new studio to work, and found one on the border of Venice in a unique location.

The first DaviniaDesign Shop was born... With a unique concept: Davinia works ans sells at the same time in the shop.

DaviniaDesign gave birth to her second shop in Venice on July 3th 2008. This shop is situated in the heart of Venice at a stone drop from the store of Marco Missiaja, professional photographer and husband of Davinia. This way collaboration is much easier. You can find the unique creations of Davinia as well as the magnificent artistic photos of top-photographer Marco Missiaja in the shop.
